Hello,

I have a new computer system, with a Asus P5N32-E SLI motherboard, and as my old speakers got their power from the computer, and this pc doesn't support that, I have bought new Logitech Z3 2.1 speakers.

However, I can't get them to work. I have 6 holes to plug 5 audio and a mic in at the back, and one mic and one normal audio hole (green) at the front. I tried every one of them, restarting my computer at every try. I also tried multiple headphones (directly in every hole) to see if it were my speakers causing the problem.

I have run Everest to see if it could show me my SupremeFX audio chip (audio chip came with motherboard). It showed me I have a High Definition Audio Controller chip.

Does anyone know what could be causing the problem?

so, no matter what you plug in you're not getting sound?

If so, then you need to reinstall your drivers.

If you get sound with headphones and not the speakers, then there is a connection issue.

I didn't get a driver CD with the motherboard (with the built-in SupremeFX audiochip), and I can't find SupremeFX audio drivers. I'm now downloading a AudioMAX driver, which was on the updates page of the motherboard. But I doubt this is the one...?

This happens often, 90Percent of the time its the Drivers. Remember your drivers lads ! :p.

Good to know there working, because there AWSOME speakers.
