I reloaded all the programs and drivers, but now I cannot play any type of video file. When I try, using either WMP11 or Quicktime, my machine just hangs. I have downloaded the most up to date drivers for both media players and for my graphics card, but nothing works. Posted by: BoysNightOut WMP11 sucks complete butthole. Quicktime also I do not advise using, except for website material that requires it alongside flashplayer type stuff. Use VideoLAN (VLC_ media player. It plays almost anything, doesn't need codec updates or driver installs even. It's small, light and just works every time for me. I used to only use Media Player or DivX player and have all of these groups of codecs installed etc. and it became a hassle when certain things worked like audio and no video or vice versa. VLC has worked for me everytime and I heavily advise its use. Most people on here will probably say the same. Posted by: t3ch_threads VLC is the shiz :D Posted by: Mantis-X Yea I love VLC... Just wish it was easier to scroll through parts in a movie... ;) Posted by: EricB reload your drivers Posted by: RMG I have reloaded both my motherboard and graphics card drivers, and downloaded VideoLan, but it hasn't made any difference. vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
