Hi all,

I have a friend whose computer is experiencing slow internet connection in a small apartment building with T1 connection.

She says it started being slow after her antivirus expired. She's just downloaded another antivirus and did a full scan and it only picked up one file, which was fixed.

She also scanned with Ad-Aware and fixed another 750ish suspicious problems.

The connection failed to show any improvement after all this.

Anyone know how to troubleshoot something like this?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

That doesnt sound like a problem with the line, that sounds like a problem with the computer. 750 problems with Ad aware, I bet if you run it again it will still pull more up. Check to see how many processes you have running. Run your virus scans, Reg Mechanic, Tune up Utilities make sure your computer is clean.
