Anywho, I have cable internet but any steaming video seems to go patheticly slow. Youtube, apple trailers, google video anything is like I still running on 56K. Web pages load in a flash but I have to pause video and wait for it to buffer. My friends comp at his house, he also has cable internet loads streaming video in a jiffy and he has a much old and slower comp than I do. I do not have a slow computer. I built my comp not too long ago. I have a intel Core 2 duo 1.8 GHz CPU and 1 GB of very fast RAM. It's a gaming comp so I really don't think the speed of the computer is the problem. So if anyone know what the problem is and any possible ways to fix it that would be awesome Thanks in advance! New York seems faster than all the others. lol just a typo. i used to have charter cable, and i had almost identical speeds. it has low latency, which is great for gaming, but it has low bandwith, which made streaming video a pain. but we upgraded to bellsouth, which has literally twice the latency, which gives me horrible pings, but its bandwith is amazing, like 3mega-bits/sec. so the problem is simple; your internet is slow. vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
