Flash?

It's not working or something, and not getting detected. I installed it though. First, in Firefox, I just clicked on the thing and installed the plugin. Whether it was working then or not, I don't know. But I use Opera anyway, so I went onto Opera and flash isn't working. I clicked on the "get flash here.", downloaded the tar.gz and installed it, yet Flash still isn't working..? What's up? The download didn't say it supported Opera, but it did say it supported Firefox, but Firefox still doesn't have Flash working either...

apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

After you do that put "about:plugins" in Firefox's address bar to see if it worked.

Edit: Bah, smileys. That's "a b o u t : p l u g i n s" without any of the spaces.

Okay.. I did that, and I get this from YouTube..
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player."

How do I check if I have JS disabled, I don't think I do, as it's on by default I assume? opera;[plugins] gives me

"application/futuresplash spl
application/x-shockwave-flash swf
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflash-mozplugin.so"

What's up? o.o
