my friend had question, about putting linux on a bootable flash drive. i know its possible, buts thats about all i know. does anyone know of a good distro that can run well on a flash drive? it needs to be fairly modern in its hardware support and interface.

i think puppy linux is one of the best for flash drives. the only thing you have to do after you've installed linux to the flash drive is enable USB boot in the bios of the computer you want to boot from.
