Any idea what could cause this? Also, when I go from lets say 1.87Ghz to 1.9Ghz there is a super big performance increase. I think the chipset identified the CPU type by it's clock speed. I just checked on my Athlon XP 2700+ I have at work, here and it does the same thing. I overclocked it to "3000+" yet it is just a 2700+. I'm using Windows, and it said that when I right-clicked on My Computer and went to Properties. Posted by: Erich K Cool.
