Change Background Freeze

I encounter a deep freeze everytime I want to change the background image. (Mac os 10). I have to force quit the application. Anyone have this problem before, or know how to fix it? --> Who said macs don't have bugs! :D

I've restarted, many times and it still freezes as soon as it enters the change background menu.

Which Mac do you have, what version of the OS are you using?

I'm using os 10, and think its a g3 but I might be mistaken, as I know nothing about macs.

It all started after I changed the background image to a .jpg image I pulled off my pc. Now when I go into Desktop & Screensaver menu it freezes and I have to force quit. I also tried changing the resolution, which changed the background to a default image, but when I restart, the background goes back to that same image.

Just delete the image that is causing problems. It could be corrupt.

I did :/ Image still appears after restart as well.

Fixed it :D I changed the folder name in which that image was stored, and it doesn't freeze anymore...yey...finally...
