I have FF 2.0 installed. Suddenly, when I click on any link within the web browser, it opens a new tab in the background. Why is this? I don't remember changing any settings. Posted by: Enterpriser I believe you click TOOLS ==> OPTIONS ==> TABS ==> CLICK OPEN IN NEW TABS. I understand that you said you did not change any settings, but maybe it was installed that way. Posted by: M4A1 Right, but I want it to open in the same tab I was currently in. If I'm in Tab 1, I click on a link contained in Tab 1, it opens Tab 2.
