It doesn't do it all the time, but on occassions, it'll act up. I'll try to explain it the best I can, but it's kinda hard to explain... If needed, I'll just upload/post a video of my problem, if you're not sure what I mean. Anyway... here's my problem: Whenever I'm using IE7, it will sometimes randomly not let me scroll/click links in webpages, or use the dropdown arrow by the Address bar (or use any other button except for the Menu bar, for that matter). It acts as if it simply 'deactivates' them. Now, if I right-click on the title bar, go down to the address bar, right click then left click, it will sometimes let me edit the address, or use the dropdown arrow. And if I want to 'activate' a webpage, it seems that I have to go to File > Properties and then just hit cancel after the dialog comes up. Is anybody else having this problem, and do you know a solution for it? This is getting really annoying having to deal with it. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, its appreciated. Also note, that I did try to re-install IE7 (I didn't completely un-install it, just re-installed) the other day to see if this would solve the problem, but to no avail =\. Again, thanks for any help you can provide. BTW, please do not say "Google it" or "Use Firefox" because: a) I've already searched for it, and b) I've used FireFox, and I don't like it at all, so don't tell me to use it =\. Thanks again. Posted by: Enterpriser Use Firefox....ermm....Opera...errmmm. Just kidding. I too have this problem the couple of times I have used IE 7, but alas I have no remedy. I just thought I would tell you so you do not think you are the only one. Posted by: carnageX Yeah, at least I know I'm not the only one that has the problem now xD. Let me know if you find a solution for the problem, before somebody else does, that is xD. Posted by: talldude123 I have had that problem too, I thought it was the computer freezing. I solved it by going into the device manager, under processes, locating the IEXPLORE.EXE process, right-clicking on it, and choose High Priority. Posted by: carnageX Has that eliminated the problem completely after you do that? Or does it still reoccur? Also, I'm guessing that I'd have to do that every time I open a window, right? A little fix that I found, that while it does this to me, if I Alt+Tab through my open programs, and get back to my IE window, it seems to solve the problem (at least so far). Thanks for the help though guys. I'll have to try that, talldude, and see if it works for me, thanks for the suggestion =). vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
