PS3 have blu-ray drive and that would mean games are pretty large in size and PC games are still using DVDs or CDs and there are very few or none blu-ray games for PC so i just want to know whats good about them. This has already been brought up many times, but to make a short point, the blu ray isn't going to make larger games because the production costs and times make that prohibitive. If anything, they will use the size to keep data uncompressed for quicker seek times since the blu ray has a speed issue. Posted by: killians45 Don't count on PS3 blue ray meaning larger games, it just means the games are uncompressed for faster seek/access times and vid stream that does not have to be uncompressed and viewed on the fly. Like I've said a gazillion times, prices for game development are already extremely high, to add new content instead of using the extra room for faster rates would vastly increase either the amount of developers needed, the release dates or both that will, in turn, equal drastically raised game prices.
