In the Land of Pokemons and anti-shooters, Gears of War manages to hit #7 on its first week of sale in Japan.

good news for MS down in japan... the original xbox really flopped down there with hardly any titles selling well let alone one of them being in the top 10

I didn't like GoW. Felt just a futeristic version of Rainbow Vegas.
