I need to make it better and since you guys are heaps better on computers than me, i would like your opinions. Heres my story, im 19 just finished school and want to open a web page. A lot of people have told me i can't do it. Everything is up and running and i need some donations to add it to search engines. I know its the net and no one trusts eachother but i need some to add some search engines. Anyway even if its just opinions on the site, they would be greatly appreciated.

What does your site do?

Google will pick up your site as long as you link to it from somewhere else. (Blog, MySpace, Whatever)

That and submitting it to as many link farms as is reasonable is the cheapest way to get your site out there.

Yeah, it feels dirty, but whatever gets hits to your site...

This will get you into a majority of the big search engines- but it doesn't guarantee a high ranking. For more of a chance to have a visitor that is searching for stuff on your site to find your site, you should look into SEO (search engine optimization).
