It was working great.... Still is but there is one problem. I installed it on my dads computer and he goes to a few sites that won't come up on either my computer nor his. You have to click on a specific link 3 times in order for the site to show up. http://www.birchfieldmanor.com/ It is when we click on the links on this site. So I tried disabling the add-ons on my computer that wasn't it. His was just a fresh download a few hours ago and his wont come up. So I don't think i need to reinstall it. I tried searching through the forum i couldn't find a similar problem Anyone have an idea? Posted by: Trotter Came right up for me. I don't get it. maybe the site was having problems? Posted by: Burn_Cycle Crazy maybe it was. I am clicking on the links and its opening just fine. But the weird thing was is that I could click on one of those links and 1 out of 3 times it would work so idk what was going on. well um... thanks????? :p Posted by: jonny_uk Burn_Cycle it was fine for me aswell, the site popped on my screen instantly and then i clicked on 2 of the options on the left "home" and "map" both came straight up. You sure its nothing to do with your internet connection/ firewall, those things are possibly something both yours and your dads pc share, thats why i ask Posted by: Enterpriser Funny I had problems the first time I clicked on a link, but after that time it is working just fine. Posted by: Burn_Cycle The site was down i found out. But my dad's FF is still a pain in the @$$. You have to refresh the page in order to view it. With almost every web site that isn't cached. Very annoying! I don't think IE ever did that to him. I can go to any site at my house and it comes up quick and on the first try. I'll check the Firewall ASAP but im super sick right now and probly be going to the doctors tomorrow so i cant go down to my dads work any time soon. Any other ideas while i am stuck at home? Posted by: Trotter I'm at work just now, but I'll post up my settings once I get home. Posted by: Snake-Eyes I'm on FF2.0, and it came right up. Posted by: Trotter OK, in Tools, Options, in Content I have all four of the boxes checked in the top part. On this tab you can also set How Firefox handles certain file types (I have all PDFs to open in Adobe Reader instead of FF, and so forth). In Privacy, I have checked Accept Cookies until they expire. I also have checked for it to ask me before clearing private data (I use CookieCuller to protect certain cookies, like logons). Outside of these, look at your firewall as it may be the one causing the trouble. vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
