I'm gonna have to go with Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2. Although they are the only 3rd person shooters I've ever really played so I don't have a lot to compare to. I played Gears of War on Xbox 360 and I bet I would like that even more if it were on a pc with mouse keyboard controls but its not right now so it can't get my vote :)

Gears of War is a really good one, but I also really liked the Conker: Live and Reloaded third person shooting (ie the war part of single player, and all of online play).

I don't know, but it's weird for me, I don't mind a 3rd person shooter on a controller, not saying keyboard/mouse isn't better, but it feels good. Where as a 1st person shooter, while still fun, just isn't the same without a mouse.

I have played Max Payne 2, it is good game but of course not the best.

There are other good 3rd person shooter game like Mafia and Tomb Raider Legend

Max Payne wasn't my favorite. I did like the war part in Conkers, both the N64 and XBox

Tomb Raider 1. After fighting wolves and bears, it was pretty awesome the first time I saw a dinosaur. Plus this is pretty much the game that started this genre along with Mario3D.

Taken me some time to get sharp with it, but Scarface is fun for the hit location. :D
