I downloaded games for ps2. I know how to copy the games on to the dvds using the dvd encryptor, and nero and blah blah blah. But here is the problem. the first game i dowloaded was bully and put it onto a cd a 4x speed. The game workes perfectly fine...no laggs or any glitches. Then i get the game dynasty warriors and i burn it at 4x speed and i play it on the ps2 using Swap Magic. The game glitches and lags and barly works. That also happened to other games i got. Ss the questions of Have are - do i have to burn at 2x speed. - if yes, what cds do i use. - is my burner capable of burning and 2x speed or do i have to get a new one.(how do i check) - what dvd do you recomend -or is there a different reason y it doesnt work. ty and plz post:beard: :beard: :confused: :confused: Posted by: biker_pavel ... So lets say you bought the games... I have a ps2 V15 and I am getting a Duo3 Gold mod chip soon. The reason the game dont work is beacause: 1. DVD. It is best to use DVD-R's, but i use +R's. I use memorex, but vetbatim and RiTek are better. 2. Burn at 2x. The minimum for my burner is 4x. Always try to burn slow. 3. No offence, but swap magic sucks. It can only play a certain list of games. The game you wish to play may not be in swap magic's compatibily list. The full list is on SM's site. My advice would be, to get a souldered in mod. The best IMO, is the D.M.S.4 Pro. It's about $70. But, the one I am getting (Duo3 Gold), is basic and does what I need, play backups. And it's $20. Good Luck.
