I posted earlier that i am going to get an xbox 360. What are "The games to own" on this system. Just to make sure, 360 can play normal xbox games right?

this would be my first time owning something other than sony so heres what i think so far

halo
halo 2
gears of war
socom?

Any other games that you guys think that i should go for?
nba live or 2k7 (not sure which one)

-Gears of War is a must. Rainbow Six Vegas as well. The online play for these 2 is phenomenal.
-Oblivion for an RPG.
-Project Gotham, Test Drive Unlmtd, or NFS: Carbon for racing.
-Take your pick for a sports title (**cough** Fight Night Round 3 or Table Tennis **cough**)

I got CoD3 instead of GOW and im glad some reason i dont fancy GOW. ANyway get these there a must.

Saints Row (You cant deny blwoing a train off its tracks and casuing huge crashes and crushing people is fun)

GRAW (The best online game they ever made shame the menu sucks)

CoD 3 (Completed it 6 times on Hardened within 3 days still not bored)

NFS Carbon .... I remember when i got that Dodge Viper and scored 620K on drifting in 2 laps *drewl*

Far Instsincs Predator.... Make beutiful Islands full of anything you want then compete on it and have the advantage of knwoing your way around. Check out these on jayflipz.photsite

Star Wars KOTOR series is great i cant wait till they come out with a much needed third one.

GOW is a must have imo its really is the first next gen game out there
halo 2 is great for online play as well
COD2 and 3 are both great i have friends who play both so i still play number 2 but if you can only get one get number 3
oblivion is alos a must have for rpg lovers
