View the adding a signiture thread (its somewhere around here) as for your avatar , User CP , Avatar ( i think you need a link , so photobucket or the like will do) ;)

User CP > Edit Options > Change Avatar > "yes" at Use Custom Avatar > Browse to the image you want (be sure it fits within the limits of the rules of TF) > Reclick "Yes" at Use Custom Avatar > Submit Modifications
