hi, i have the Xbox 360 with 20GB HDD and i got Halo and Project Gotham racing for the Normal xbox and when i put them games in my 360 they dont work ?? any ideas ?

Don't you have to be hooked up to Xbox Live to download the update/patch to make it playable?

Get the update softare from xboxlive.com and burn to a cd-rom or get xbox live and hook up the 360 to it and it will auto update when you try to play those games.

Project Gotham and Halo are 2 of the many games that I'm sure were backwards compatable before Xbox released the patch to add more games to the list. Therefore there might be a problem with the discs. What is the message shown when you try and play these games?

You can burn the update to cd and update it without being on live.

keep in mind that some of the xbox 1 games are not compatible with the 360. But, it would sure seem like Halo would be

Some games aren't compatible, however, if you want to be able to play Halo 2 you would need the patch. You don't have to have Gold, just the free silver version to be able to get it.
