I was thinking of starting with A+, but any other suggestions would be great. Posted by: superdave1984 Net +, MCSE, CCNA should get you well into it. Invest in the study guides and practice tests. Be prepared to fail too. Most folks don't get them the first time around. Posted by: no_Wedge ok, i was planning on waiting on the A+ till the new update comes out in january, so which would be the best one to start on Posted by: superdave1984 A+ is pretty basic as is Net+. Those should not be difficult to pass. MCSE and CCNA are pretty intensive exams and have a high cost as well as a high failure rate for first timers. But they look great on a resume and should mean more $$$. Posted by: Draug First and foremost you should specify in what area with IT you are looking at, it's kind of like saying you want to be an athlet. Football? Tennis? Some of them run together yes, but not all. Look into what type of field and position you are interested in and search those jobs on e.g. Monster or Careerbuilder and you can see what many employers desire you to have.
