From the same guys that brought us smashmyipod/xbox/etc., comes smashmyps3. These guys take up donations to buy a ps3 and then turn around and smash it to bits in front of those standing in line for a chance at one of their own. Call me crazy but I lol'd when I saw this. Posted by: TheMajor Cool Posted by: fade2black2004 lol i love it Posted by: Shumway Already been posted ;) Posted by: aaronkupen Downgraded to 399,999? The sources that I know have said they got downgraded to 200,000. The most precise number I found was 143,000 actually. Posted by: NvidiaDude hahaha orwell its only a sony ps3 Posted by: Michowski1 thats the greatest thing ever. Posted by: Meithan It did take the guy quite a few strikes to crack it open. With a sledgehammer! I'm impressed. Posted by: Snake-Eyes
Originally posted by aaronkupen Downgraded to 399,999? The sources that I know have said they got downgraded to 200,000. Posted by: aaronkupen I know that, but I am saying that there weren't 400,000 ps3's to begin with. Posted by: n30phYte You're missing the funny in the thread. Quit trying to be so exact with the actual launch numbers dude.
Originally posted by Shumway Already been posted ;)
If it was posted in off-topic or something like that then I didn't see it. I very rarely post or even read that forum. Oh well. Posted by: jjrodezno I think that other dude wanted to take the broken ps3 and run home.. maybe it still worked haha Posted by: wongb18c Hehe what a waste. It must have been psychologically detrimental to the by-standers who witnessed this horrific action of vandalism. Excellent. Posted by: visionRAY I didn't even watch it. I think it's sort of sad though, well, maybe not. But I couldn't imagine being the one to help design the system only to see a video of some people carelessly smashing it into pieces. ......Okay I just watched it. Never mind the individuals across the world who designed it, I would have hated to have been the people outside still waiting to buy one. :( vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
