I got a D-Link Gaming Lounge Router, with wireless. None of the computers in my house use wireless, cept for friends/family when they bring there Laptops.

So how do i go about passwording the access to the wireless internet?

i think this is what you want, but correct me if i am wrong. You want only people with a password to be able to connect to your wireless. If so then what you need to do is configure the router, most likely this is done via a lan port connection on the router and a web browser. you need to set up WPA passphrases and enable WPA or WPA2 if you have it. that should do what you want.
