I went for an interview today at a company that writes software for researchers to keep track of testing. I think it is a good start but I want to do networking more than programming. What do you guys think?

How well will the programming job pay? In your area, is it realistic that you could find a job involving networking that will pay nearly as much?

IT has more or less leveled off over the past few years salary wise, the only way to make good money is to have experience. The longer you are in the industry, the more money you can demand.

Certifications also help:p

Well they said they wont tell me the pay unless they hire me but there are no networking jobs in my area and they guarunteed me I would get more then I do at staples.
