Absolutely!
I had a HP rx1955 iPaq with Windows Mobile 5.0, it was abysmal. Horribly slow, crashed when I tried to launche the friggin calendar, something a PDA is supposed to do flawlessly.
So I took it back and bought a Palm TX. It's very nice, not as flashy and as much as an "entertainment" device like the WM 5.0 platform, but it can still play a few decent games and music, movies, and plenty of pictures with an expansion card.
You cannot receive and make calls on it as it has no microphone, no modem capability, and havent seen a function that allows a phone call from a bluetooth phone, only data transfers and internet accesibility.

Hope that helps.

This page says that you can "Even dial your compatible mobile phone right from Contacts on your Palm TX handheld", does this mean that both the devices should have the same version of bluetooth?
The palm tx has v1.1 but nowadays most phones have v2.0, if this is the case then how is one supposed to use the otherwise wonderful device to the fullest?
