Posted by: redwasp889 ok the games the first guy suggested all suck except soul caliber and its getting pretty old but if u urself r a girl dont get her flowers get her a giftcard to a local game store not anywhere like bestbuy or walmart or electronics boutique cause their sellections and prices all suck find a small local operation and get a $50 giftcard from there Posted by: Link68759 thank you redwasp, your judgement on good games is not horrible like other peoples... the games listed are all sidescrollers and mostly fighting with no story. tipical crappy ps2 game. and dont forget the graphics that rival the n64...LOL yeah get a giftcard, or the xbox360 if your willing to blow that much money. DO NOT GET THE PS3, it sucks and a bunch of idiots will shoot you for it anyway... lol. Black looks like a good game, I watched someone play it for 2 hours... doom 3, hitman blood money, star wars republic commando, painkiller (great guns and action... no story)... I didnt mention any RPGs cuz you either love them or dont, so unless you know if she likes them dont get one. Posted by: Turq "Virtual fighter 4:evolution" If she likes fighting games, this is definately not a crappy game and the graphics are certainly better than the N64, I mean come on... I really enjoyed it, it's a lot of fun on multiplayer and there is lots of customization. If she likes the Final Fanstasy series get her the complete FF7 sound track. Great songs in there. Posted by: tajahem The worst mistake a non-gamer (or alternate platform gamer) can make is to try and buy a game for someone else. I have a pile of these at home that sit around and gather dust. Many of these are duplicates of good games I already had. Stick with a gift card for the most part. However, if you don't want to get them a gift card, peripherals are an acceptable risk since even if they have that particular item their's could wear down or be accidentally broken. If she doesn't have custom skins on her machines those might be a cool gift. I bought Guilty Gear XXR [PC] (Am I spelling it right?), and of course a bunch of roses for her. She loved the flowers, but the game seemed not surprise her at all! She told me that GG XXR was already a game of two yrs ago! Ha... what could I do? I said sorry to her for my being so stupid... I was so frustrated when she told me that the game was out-dated! ha...but anyways, hopes are everywhere!
