Both games looked pale next to both current pc games and current 360 games. Both games looked like they were about comparable to games from maybe 2 - 3 years ago. First, where did you see a working ps3 in person, the screenshots alone of resistance (screenshots tend to be quite worse than the actual game) look considerably better than ps2/ xbox graphics, and the PS3 is not 800 bucks. The high end playstation is 599.99. I would say when ps3 comes out, it will look very comparable to current xbox360 games, but to say it compares to last generation is a pretty false statement. I agree on one thing, there will be very little if any difference between the 360 and PS3 (because of the already huge prices of programming), however the comparison sounds rediculous to me. The same person who comments on someone not being impartial is the same one to make a statement like all consoles are trash. I also don't see why Jam3s-Zer0's comment was that impartial. It seems pretty clear that the original poster is very biased, and pointing out that he should find out about the price seems like a pretty logical statement to make. So maybe according to your logic, if someone doesn't see something in the same light as you then they are being one sided or automatically a fanboy? If you just buy the 600 dollar console it will just be a paperweight. What are you going to do with it? Play demos? You're going to have to buy game(s) and I would recommend getting another controller. That can easily cost you over 700 bucks. Think I've only spent 400 bucks on my 306? Posted by: jjrodezno Simple solution in 3 easy steps: 1.wait until one of your friends buys a ps3 2.play with your friends ps3 3.if u liked it buy it. if not then save your money for something else... like a big screen tv.. or the months grocery shopping.. or the downpayment of a new car.. you can even put it in a savings acc for your retirement! Posted by: n30phYte sure you can always think of an exception to make a point i guess. but who's talking about bundles from certain retailers? you dont have to settle for buying a bundle is what i'm saying. if you think you're being forced to buy a bundle for a new console and you don't want what comes with it, then you still have the option of getting it somewhere else, though it may be further down the road while you wait on new shipments. what i'm saying is that the bottom dollar is not gonna be $800. retail price for the high-end machine is $599. that's been out for a while now. the ps3 MIGHT cost $4000 dollars too if you get ripped off on eBay...but like i said earlier you can always get one for retail though maybe not right away.
