It's on a windows machine and I can't get the service to start. It's only a small server I'm putting together as a side project, I'm thinking it as something to do with the fact that I desided to use Windows XP instead of dishing out the cash for Server. Either way, any suggestions? I've tried just about everything I can think of right down to using the installer cleanup utility from windows to rip it and reinstall it. Posted by: JeremyTM Yes, your solution can easily be solved with Apache. Simply install it on your root drive and it will take care of the rest. Check it out here http://httpd.apache.org/ Any problems installing let me know :) Posted by: Kubel I would uninstall all traces of MySQL, restart, and go with AppServ. http://www.appservnetwork.com/ It includes Apache, MySQL, PHP, phpMyAdmin, and a few other spiffy things packaged in. Aside from hosting at home, you can also check your ISP and see if they offer a few MBs of web space free with your account (many do). Hosting at home worked fine for me for a while- and it helped me save a few bucks a month. vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
