Any suggestion is appreciated! :) Posted by: ablaye What search engines??? The major search engines do not have directories. You probably mean web directories. In the DMOZ web directory, you can only submit your site in one directory. For the other directories, it depends. Make sure you read their rules before you submit. The directories have their own rules. If you try to submit to multiple categories and they don't allow this, you might get rejected. Posted by: Dealunion But some directories haven't listed this rules about it clearly, I wanna have a try, but worried about be banned, Though still thanx for your nice suggestion Posted by: d6rth7ader are u talking about submitting you url to search engines like google, msn, or yahoo? cos you dont need to submit as search engine will automatically crawl your site. Posted by: forevermac With regards to directories, I submitted my computer recycling site to loads of directories without any worries. Don't worry too much about where it's listed, just consider the number of submissions you've made as the most important part. You can expect some 10-20 percent to end up listed and the rest forgotten about- unless you pay for them! With regards to Google/ MSN etc, they on't have directories. Submission to them should only be one once, unless you want to submit new pages each time they're created.
