does anyone know of a program that i can use (perfer free) that can test my network. i have a wired network that has about 5 computers. i would like to know how my bandwidth they use, what they can upload and download at. i host serveral lan parties and would like to know how well the network performs. thank you for your help

windows XP proffessional has built in monitoring tools. it is either the administravive tools or you have to goto windows add/remove windows components and add the network monitor utility.

also you can just alt-ctrl-del and look at the network utilization. it shows a line graph and percentages.

yeah, that's a great website ([url]http://www.dslreports.com/tools[/url]), but i'm not connected to the internet with this lan. i would like to know how well my network performs when it's put to the test. a program that i could download and test with. i know about xp's built in, but that's just for one single computer usage. it dosen't tell me max download or upload speed.
