Posted by: jdhore1 There are multiple differences...A PDA is the general term for all devices, a Palm Pilot is really the name for a device running PalmOS and PocketPC is really the name for devices running Windows Mobile. Some good PalmOS devices are the: Tungsten E2 ($200), TX ($299) and the Treo 650 ($99-$600) Some good PocketPC's are the: HP iPaq's and the Dell Axim's Posted by: alilxmas Actually a PDA is both, but it is either running Pocket PC or Palm depending on which op sys it using. Palm is smaller, faster and can do almost anything you need it to do. It has been around forever and a day. A pda running palm os is a much better option than one running windows mobile. The main reason for saying so is that palm os can run almost any software and hence it's software are relatively easier to find, but when it comes to pocket pc finding software for it can be a difficult task.
