OP OP S stevethebrain In Runtime Messages 402 Location usa Dec 18, 2019 #12 I'm not sure which drive is on what port I never labled each drive. I assume I can dissconnect a drive then identify. if you look closely at disk management SS 1st image Z has diangla lines the other drives don't. I was able to check disk options now able to check scan for an tempt recover bad sectors for 2.5 hours about 25% to go.

Celery Golden Master Messages 6,355 Location USA Dec 19, 2019 #13 Probably because the drive is trying to be Z and H at the same time. That's your conflict there. Try the Minitool Partition Wizard and let it look at the drives. I'd like to see the report on them.

Celery Golden Master Messages 6,355 Location USA Dec 19, 2019 #15 Minitool Partition Wizard makes it all easy for you. Rename all your drives as you wish except for the system drive that must remain C:. Also the drive you installed your programs must remain with its letter. With the rest go for it.
