Any particular reason you're wanting to upgrade to a dedicated sound card? Are you doing recordings or anything like that? Nowadays, a separate sound card isn't all that necessary for normal usage.
What's the quality if your source music? What about the speakers / headphones you have? Just putting a soundcard in won't help if you have low quality music and/or low quality speakers/headphones.
