moving system drive from one pc to another possible?

i want to move my nvme drive from old dell xps 8940 to new dell xps 8960 beause i dont want to reinstall everything and having to log in on everything and having to change all the settings again for entire windows.

is there a way i can move the drive to new pc?
obviously i would have to install the drivers etc

hard system drive was a typo lol

If the slot(s) are available on mobo, I see no reason why it shouldn't be possible. The only thing is, you lose Windows activation if you put the hard drive in another computer and of course, some new or other drivers must be installed.

i mean to replace the drive in new dell with the drive from previous model dell would it be a stable system?

im more worried about having to deal with incompatibilities later or corrupted system and stuff

trying to save time switching from pc to pc
