I had a 2080ti in cart earlier today, but was hesitant and unsure if I should of gotten the reference card or something from EVGA. Having all my past GPU's from EVGA made me hold off and couldn't get thru anymore afterwards.

I think this question needs to be asked. What games are you playing by chance? While getting a 1050 (or whatever the suggestion) would benefit you greatly, curious what your going to use the 550ti to run.

Mine didn't either. It deteriorated to not being able to boot at all to a constant patter of power on for 3 seconds then auto shut-down and restarts. Was luck that I got it to boot, and then it was on a timer till it crashed and the cycle repeated.

Sounds like you are having the same issues I was having last month. My thread Friend ran a cleaner on my pc that checked registry for errors, that fixed my issues in my case.

Update: I was wrong regarding the system file. Looks like the numerous hard reboots and freezes started damaging system files. I repaired windows and launched PUBG. Played 35 minutes till it froze, which is 3-7x longer than the 5-10 minutes till freeze. Typing on phone so unsure if I mentioned...
