Any idea why my computer would appear to boot up fine, but not give me my normal POST beep? Also, should I get the POST beep on restart, or only coming up from a completely downed system?

I just got a new gtx460 and I'm thinking about overclocking it. Probably gonna OC my proc too. My psu is an older PC Power & Cooling 510 Turbo. It was designed for SLI and I've been running a 7900GTX with it. You think it's sufficient enough to OC cpu and gpu?

Well, went ahead and sprung for a GTX460 1GB earlier today. Should have it by Friday I'd guess. It's stock speeds, but I'll OC it some when I get it. Hope it works out well! :)

Thanks for all the input, everyone. I've been further looking into cards and have been getting interested in the GTX460 as well. Good to know my old mobo can still live a little. :)

Thanks for the help on this. Much appreciated. I plan on building a new rig completely, but wanted to get a new gpu now so I could get some "early" enjoyment out of it.....as best as possible anyway. lol

I'm looking to upgrade my video card from my current 7900GTX to an ATI HD5850. I know it's a PCI Express 2.1 card. My question, and Im sure you've heard this before...will it work in my mobo? I'm pretty sure it's only 1.1. Some say it will work fine, but others say it won't. I've been out...

Any idea why the game started freezing all the time for no reason? It only started after I accepted the "bounty hunter" quest. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I played Fable II around it's release and never had any trouble. Flash forward to today....was playing for a bit and all was well. Then the game started freezing over and over. I did a cache clean and now I'm getting a "corrupted save game" error. What could have caused this?

At times she wears the pants more than even she realizes. Thankfully I play the role of "in charge" pretty well.....even when I don't have a clue what I'm doing. haha

Wife and I got $6200 back. Most of it is gone to bills....and a new washer and dryer. lol She did give me a portion to buy a new guitar amplifier though! SWEET! :D
