so if i overclock it and get the 1050ti with an ssd will I be pretty good for gaming? even low settings?

I do not have a ssd but I might look into getting one, I found this: EVGA Geforce Gtx 1050 ti SC 4Gb is that a good gpu and will it mostly fix my problem? BTW I have 16gb of ram. Thanks!
