Everything is audio enabled, the drivers are up to date and there are no exclamation marks in the device manager. I think that the sound card is working to an extent as only the left speaker works on my headphones and external speakers. what do I do , flash the bios?
I have a dell inspiron 9300 and there is no audio. I have tried reinstalling the drivers which seem to be working properly and I have also opened it up and have a look at the connections and the wires condition. this all seems to be in good working condition.
So any ideas on what might be wrong?
Tried it on an inspiron 9300, my screen has a bit of a wobble thought this would remove that, however, didnt work for me. Screws were as tight as they could be!
I have a serious problem with my inspiron.........once I start up I get this text box saying a dll file cant be found and with that I have no internet connection with my dsl modem. how can i fix this problem? the file is wftafdi16! there are some more numbers at the end will get the full file...

Thinking of upgrading the laptop in my signature to vista home premium 32-bit. This is the OS system that was recommended by the microsoft tool. Do you think I will have any hardware problems, lags or any problems at all with this OS?
My pc is not starting up. when i put it on the monitor light flickers as i if nothing is being sent to it. The cpu lights in the back are not on, even though the ones in front come on when i press the start button. I am guessing the cpu has crashed. Any help would be appreciated!
