Do you mean the game files, or the actual installation media? Cause you have the install media on disc, right?

Just a shot, but try installing Origin in the default location on your C drive. I know your drive is an SSD and that you might not have room, but at least see if the installation will continue. If it does cancel it and then you'll know that Origin is being picky with your E drive. Couple...

I can see the issue there. For me though those are mute points. I have fast internet, so even a hefty game only takes a couple hours to download, and downloading is automatically paused when I launch another game. Steam really isn't for everyone, but I've found it very useful for myself--but...
