well thats an expensive computer... but if ur gonna use it for personal AND business maybe its worth it.. id try to get it slightly used but still under warranty n practically new for 300 bucks off haha.
could be many many things u have to test each piece... could be a harddrive still could be just going and ur able (luckily) to access ur files, id test the harddrive sometime...but i doubt thats it..
but anyways it could be the power supply, could be the ram.. are you sure its set to boot to...
very first thing id try like they said is the ac plug, if a new one still doesnt charge it while its on, i would assume prolly its not the battery unless it doesnt hold a charge... you could just need to drain your laptop one good time ive seen weird things- where you need to take the battery...
well i disagree with all of you... I know ebay isnt the best place to shop and its rough to buy nice laptops on it
But the Exception of an included warranty thats valid n proving its not old at all can go a long way if the seller has only a few feedbacks.

i totally agree.. by default it shoudl be off- ALSO u HAVE to login to keep that setting (off) haha thats dumb! if u consistently clear ur temp files(like u should ;) ) u have to keep turning it off.. down with google.. up with sudden0utburst
