if he was using web, you would have to enter a number to use his wireless connection. he probably has it on the router, he is just naive or something and didn't turn it on.

yes it is illegal in one sense since you are using his connection without paying him, so in a way, you are stealing from him.

my 5900xt is equivalent to a 9600XT, so anything in the fx range is not worth your money now. if you can, aim to get a 6600 GT, you will not regret that purchase and it doesn't hurt the wallet like the 6800 GT

Personally, I would not buy anything where I could not find out what the brand of the mobo was from the vendor. go to www.newegg.com they sometimes have good deals. plus they have a really good RMA policy and great shipping. and they tell you the brand of every product they sell.

as far as I know, no you can't transfer anything unless there s a connection between the two computers similtanously. you can always use a flopp/cdrom/usb thumb drive. or you can write the text on a piece of paper and then write the text on the other computer.
