You need to download the Network, Audio, USB3, JMicron SATA, etc.., drivers from Asus. The chipset driver just updates the Intel chipset and the Intel SATA controller not the other onboard components.
I like it, nice and clean. Are the lines white or are you using some of that new nanofluid? This is the stuff I've seen Ice Dragon Cooling Fluid.

I agree with tj_extreme, if you happen to have a problem, Gigabyte offers the worse support and their RMA policy is awful. I've only bought one Gigabyte product in my life and it is and will be the last.

You want it to work with your router but you haven't told us what router your using? Is your router fairly new? Does it have a usb port? I would go with one of these.

That information isn't telling us anything. Post some CPU-Z screenshots as well as a HWMonitor screenshot (under load). You should also run a benchmark like 3DMark11 and post a link to your orb score.
If you can overclock your cpu and your frames per second increase then you have reduced the amount of cpu bottlenecking your system is experiencing. When increasing the cpu speed no longer makes a difference then the bottleneck has been eliminated, or the cpu has just reach it's maximum...
patonb is correct, more or less. It's not the mobo that has to work though, it's the cpu (memory controller is built into the cpu). Exactly what Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz kit did you buy? Can you supply a link to them?
