A little update...I tested it yesterday and today with WMP instead of pandora and there is no skipping, or any problems at all. I left the brower open while playing just to see if it was a problem with Chrome or something, but there was no problem...I would agree and say it's a bandwith issue...
I have Verizon FiOS internet. I am currently running on 4 GB of RAM because 1 stick was faulty, but I still have over 1 GB available even when gaming. It also happened when I had 8 GB of RAM installed, so I wasn't even close to maxed out then. Should I test with WMP and see if it stutters? I...
Hopefully I'm posting in the right place...Strange issue with pandora internet radio stuttering for 1-3 seconds when playing Starcraft II. It sounds like a CD skipping, or at least similar. I'm using Chrome browser while it happens. I can pause Pandora and the sound in Starcraft won't stutter or...
Thanks! I'll update once I get the new stick of RAM from Corsair. I really hope that's the problem! As of right now, I can pass Intel Burn Test no matter what settings I use in BIOS all the way up to 4 GHz so far....
I think I may have identified the problem for sure!!
I am testing the RAM sticks individually while running Intel Burn Test on maximum stress...The same stick that was erroneous in slot DIMM3 before also failed IBT on the second pass, just like it always does with both sticks installed! After...
Thank you, but I'm not sure what you mean....Is there compatibility issues with this RAM and my MB? Did you post wrong link?
EDIT: As an alternative, I just ran memtest86 from a bootable CD and tested both modules in DIMM3 slots and neither of them had any errors. I am currently testing with...
Thanks for the reply...
I am currently testing the "good" stick of RAM right now in DIMM3 and there are no errors. My problem seems weird. Both sticks seem to have no errors in DIMM1, and only 1 stick has errors in DIMM3....What would that be?? Blame the RAM? I don't see how it could be the...
I am completely puzzled here and would like some opinions. I have been trying to get my CPU stable even on all stock BIOS settings. It fails IBT on maximum stress (on the 2nd or 3rd pass, so very early. Same results also on LinX). I have tried all different combinations of settings in BIOS, but...
I just tested it again today with the same exact settings and it failed 10 passes of IBT at max stress. Then just for the heck of it, I reset EVERYTHING to default in BIOS including RAM to 1333 and it failed IBT on the 2nd pass on max stress.......Where do I go from here if my CPU isn't even...
Thanks for the reply. I disabled Turbo boost, but I left EIST enabled. I like the idea of throttling down when the CPU is at idle as long as that doesn't interfere with stability.
I started over because I am yet to find a stable OC at ANY speed. I finally got it stable at 4 GHz. I'm wondering...
