What kind of a GPU would run games in 4k nicely? Would it have to be the 1080? Also, there is a huge jump in price (more than double from what I see) even going from 1050 to 1060, what is the reason for that? Is it because of the bitcoin mining thing?

Got the tv and computer hooked up :thumbsup: Probably a stupid question but will the gpu need to do work if my tv is on but on a different input? I had my tv on another input than what the computer is hooked into and my pc recognized the tv as a monitor still. Trying to not make the gpu do work...

Okay, thank you! I have a dvi -> hdmi adapter, but I can order a DP -> hdmi if that is better. Found this cable which I would connect the DP part into the GPU and the hdmi part into my computer monitor.
