I cant necessary put the other HDD into the other computer due to the fact that the computer I'm attempting to install on is a Laptop, while the other is a Desktop. I should have included that.

I am currently running Windows 2000 on a Preario 1510T.
I seem to have a problem with my RAM. I know for a fact that I have about 512MB of DDR RAM, though my operating system only identifies about 222 of it. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I solved the problem. Using the program "Unknown Device Identifier" I was able to figure out the name of my sound card. After searching I found out it was an ALI 5451 Audio Accelerator.
