I'm trying to completely get off google and looking for somewhere to store my data backups. I'm looking for something cheap where I can basically SCP my data up to. I don't need any fancy GUI or desktop app. Just somewhere I can store data to backup.
What if I keep the 550 ti and downgrade to the i5? Will the i7 be a noticeable difference for what I'm doing ( visual studio, vmware, etc ). The only game I see myself playing will be CS:GO
I'm not really into gaming but wanted it to be as fast as I can get it for everything else. I'm in software development so the video card wasn't to important to me, but what video card would you suggest if I downgrade the cpu?

Alright well my one desktop is using LAN connection and the others are using wireless.. the laptops w/e is built into them and the desktop a US robotics one. Will it still work with these?
