Yes it is still the pre-built hard drive. Meh, Asus hasn't been great honestly. I'm still working on getting the factory reset disc from them to give it a try and i'm starting to get gaming withdrawals xD
My bios isn't listing my hard drive as a bootable device. I have no idea what's wrong! When i start my computer up i get this message:
The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device.
Click OK to enter the BIOS Setup.
then in yellow text:

I am on a desktop and there are 4 SATA data cables in the computer, two are connected into some slots on the mother board and one is connected to the DVD drive and the other is connected to the HDD.
How could that have happened? This only happened after i tried getting the CD/DVD drive to boot up in the BIOS so there has to be someway to get the BIOS to boot up the HDD. It's not listed, but because i don't have the CSM parameters to boot it up i don't think and i don't know how to set the...
So what should i do now? All i can boot up is the CD Drive all of a sudden and i have no idea how to navigate or work my BIOS, it's much weirder than i'm used to. Legacy and UEFI and all that i have no idea.
switched the data cables between DVD and HDD drives and still did not work. Partitions are not showing up and i cannot get the BIOS to boot my hard drive
Yea i can feel it vibrating, a different SATA cable meaning the one from the PSU?
Okay well thank you for your help so far i'll try working it out in the mean time.
Yea! Exactly! its not! I dont know what happened!!! yea its plugged in and stuff but no BIOS does not detect it, it's not even on the boot menu. After i finally got bios to boot the DVD somehow i was just tinkering around for a while no idea what i was doing, it never booted the HDD again.
