You might want to take a look at Sony Vegas if you want to get into more advanced video editing and managing. I hear it's one of the best programs of its type out right now.

Well, I voted Viewsonic VX922. Viewsonic is a reliable and great brand, fastest LCD available, and my personal favorite.

For wired, MX518 or G5. For wireless, G7. I have one and it's great.

Everest, RivaTuner, and if you have nVidia, their control panel can monitor GPU temperatures. RivaTuner is the best for monitoring the temperatures imo, because it has a graph that shows how the temperature rises and falls over time.

No, it isn't limiting your GPU. The X2 3800 is a great CPU. If you aren't comfortable with the amount of performance it's giving, why don't you try overclocking it?
