If you're trying to reformat. Unplug the all the other hard drives and only plug in the drive upon which you want to install the operating system. Then systematically plug each other drive in and see which one is causing the problem.

This virus has been going around. You can kill it in safe mode. Just boot into safemode and take care of it with antivirus. It's a really simple virus to take down. I've taken it off several computers in the past weeks.
