So i'm running totally vanilla Apache 2.2 on Windows XP Home ( And Win 7 Home) I installed Apache on my main PC (7) and got it working, even got a friend in the Netherlands to access my site, which he could do no problems.

ah, done that already, the installer that they give you doesn't contain the file i need. you have to get that file from the installation CD which is the problem, i don't have the CD.

very little distortion on this mic however it does pick up sound a bit to well, frequently my friends complain that they can hear my mother playing her flute, which she plays downstairs and yet it still gets picked up :P
