    bread

It's bad for you because they bleach it to make it white. In fact it's much worse than most people think, but tbh it doesn't matter since it tastes nicer.

does a cellphone interfere with your harddrive?

Cellphones won't do anything to a hard drive, even if you put it on top of the hard drive itself.

Is a COLD hard drive a bad thing?

It just makes the read/write head contract so it's not touching the platter, which is usually the problem if a HD has failed. Won't do anything for a working HD.

    defragging bad for certain files?

No it's fine. All your data is binary, it's either there or it's not, it won't blur or anything.

    Hard drive upside down

No what actually happens is because the drive platter spins so fast (say 7200rpm, this is very fast) it has gyroscopic tendencies, and it will resist changes to its orientation if the outer case is turned, and it will flex and bend on it's axis. The noise you hear is the read/write head scraping...

is this bad for your computer?

Also reboots are not necessary if your OS is stable. If you're using Windows XP (with no spyware, etc) or Linux then it'll be stable enough to run for months or years with no problems.
